[REL-FA] Run - TeamPlay Ground War - brilliant AI

[:1]Welcome Commander,

An advanced patrol to this region reported finding a split and charred rock, inscribed with the letters RUN. We have not been able to re-contact this exploratory party and fear for their well-being. We must bring under our control the western areas to ensure our stake in the future development of these mass rich valleys.
Your mission, should you wish to accept, is to drop in the western parts and develop a base that can be used to control the whole region. It would be of interest to find out what happened to the advanced party and determine the meaning behind these hieroglyphics.

TeamPlay Setup – Quality AI performance

AIX Sorian Turtle AI at top right.
AI Sorian Turtle AI in bottom right.
Both AIs are same faction.
Maximum 1000units - for normal game speed.
2 human players teamed against teamed AIX and AI.
Resource sharing ON for both teams.
No pre-built bases.
No civilians
Build restrictions – HQ have deemed that Air be restricted(Ground War).
Select ‘Annihilation’ as the victory condition.
Select ‘Allied Victory’ so that the game ends when all AI are destroyed.
AIX Cheat power set to 1.4 and 1.4

TeamPlay has only one rule:
All allied Commanders that start must finish the game alive…
If any Commander dies or leaves the mission is lost.

This map has balanced landform and resources and can be used for all human team games,
played from either side, W v E, 2 v 2.
Air should be restricted to improve game speed. The map will play fine with air 'On' if all are fast computers.
Any AI should run well here.

roj|||An Epic Ground War ... news from the field
This map runs so well that 2 normal non-cheating Sorian Turtle AIs will defeat most medium level players on their 1st sortie, and even on the 2nd run they will be surprised by the heavy defenses on the AI bases.
It took 6 days of constantly editing a simple set of FA AI markers and then testing in game before the AI would build quickly and strongly. I nearly gave up, and then magically it all came good. I am glad I persevered because the AI runs better than almost all 3rd party FA maps. Also this 20k wide map gives a very fast game speed and the AI does not choke at 1hour, instead the AI goes Ballistic! Against AIX this map is awesome.
