Experimental Map Markers

[:1]Can anyone tell me if the experimental map markers also work for T4 ships? I've been working on adding markers to maps, and I'm not sure if it's a benefit to add the experimental marker in the water for the AI to build T4 ships there, or if it's a detriment as the AI might try to build land/air T4 there.
Thanks for any input.|||HTKatzmarek|||I did notice that experimental ships are rarely built. I am using Sorian's AI, and was hoping that he might pay attention to the experimental markers for water as well. So far, I'm not seeing much difference with this marker in the water or without it.
In any case, it doesn't seem to hurt anything, so I'll probably continue placing it for now.

The Sorian AI uses the Ex marker to know where to build the largest experimentals.
UEF Fatboys
Aeon Do-nut
Cybran Beatle and Megabot
Seraphim Nuke Bomber
Other experimentals use the ‘Rally Point’ markers
The AI selected determines the type of Ex produced. Air AI will always build air experimentals, and few land experimentals. Unless Air is restricted most AI will do Air experimentals if they are available to that faction.
Placing too many ‘Ex’ markers can weaken the AI’s build in two ways.
1. The AI base build area is reduced because buildings cannot be constructed in the area around the markers.
2. The AI will attempt to build an experimental on all Ex markers at the same time…this can cause a major build stall where nothing gets done.
My map ‘Isle of Sedition’ builds Water Experimental Battleships from the AI base in the southeast. There is no ‘Ex’ marker in the water, its on the land nearby where a shipyard marker is placed offshore.
Other conditions that come into play are the type and strength of the AI build.
1. You will need to select ‘AIX Sorian Water AI’ to improve your chance of getting water experimentals. (also… Restrict Air for best chance)
2. The AIX cheat would need to be at about 1.4 to produce enough resources for water experimentals to be built.
3. Water depth and water space must be adequate.
4. The map would need to have high resources…plenty of mass points.
5. The area in the water that you expect the AI to use to build the water Ex is protected from sub attack, usually behind or beside the main base.
6. The AI needs enough space on land to build a lot of T3 power.
7. Select Aeon as this faction is the only one that I have seen produce water Exs.
