Supreme Commander 2 - mapping on a whole new level!

Looks like mapping in SupCom2 will require some modeling and texturing skills

- forget about heightmaps & stratas... this is a different ballgame altogether!|||welcome to Demigod.|||Indeed.|||Tbh with ALLOT of custom models for props and clever work I'd bet you could make something like that now, just not of the same quality.



Just more effort then it's worth.



Also I'd guess that you could make maps like the ones we currently have pretty easily.|||You could do that in FA right now with a unit that acted as the map's model and made a heightmap with retardedly steep edges near the edges of the model and some sort of killing water at the bottom of the heightmap.



Of course it would kill performance though.
