I just started map making, but i don't have photoshop. I don't need it yet, as i'm still working on getting the first half of my map done, but what other alternatives are there for height map symmetry making? I have paint.NET and Gimp, but neither seemed to recognize the files.|||GIMP plugins are available for both RAW and DDS files, have a look at the official website which has a plugin registry.
