Hello, I am a big SupCom fan (who is doing his first post on GPGnet right now...), but I currently a) don't have it, b) don't trust the pay-online shops/ordering services e.g. Amazon or THQ store, they're too easy to hack, c) don't want to get legal trouble with a torrent, some people DO get caught, and d) just got the Demo.
Note: I became a fan from watching my friends play and spending time on the SupCom wiki.
Is there a way to get the OFFICIAL map editor to work with the Demo?
Okay, first of all, is there even a way to GET the map editor outside the Vault? I mean the V4 editor, I found the V1 and it doesn't work with demo, I keep getting
The procedure entry point
?GetPlayerColorName@Moho@@YA?AV?$basic_string@DU?$char_traits@D@std@@V?$allocator@D@2@@std@@H@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library MohoEngine.dll
What is going on here? Will the official editor work with Demo? Or do I have to find a way to get SupCom first?
One more thing, can one place units in the editor? If yes, can one edit their directions?|||Depending on where you live you can get gift credit cards that work online.
They are totally secure.|||If v1 doesnt work v4 certainly wont work, it was specifically released for patch 3280. The demo is a very old build and a lot has changed since then.
But if you want to give it a try anyway: http://www.insidesupcom.de/local_links.php?catid=19|||Just out of curiosity, would HazardX's editor work?|||HazardX's map program is designed for placement of markers for Forged Alliance, there was a version that worked for SupCom only, but I found the GPG editor to be more than adequate.|||Surely a gold edition of supcom is available at a retailer, offline?|||Um, not any more, Plasma_ Wolf, thanks.
Col. Jessep, I don't speak/read German, but thanks anyways.
The big question is:
DOES THE EDITOR ALLOW PLACING/ORIENTING UNITS???
Thanks.|||Guardian54
